MSNBC Host Stephanie Ruhle exposes Rep. Dan Crenshaw and other lying Republicans who knew better as they promoted conspiracy stories to their audiences.
Stephanie Ruhle exposes lying Republicans
One wonders if those who allow themselves to fall for conspiracy theories and lies from MAGA Republican politicians, the willfully ignorant, understand that those who mislead them are laughing at them. They believe these sycophants are gullible. If one doubts that, listen to Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw talk candidly about discussions misleading Republicans had behind closed doors about their big lie deception.
“They’re like, ‘Yeah, we know that. But we just, you know, people just need their last their like their last hurrah. Like, they just need to feel like we fought one last time. Trust me, it’ll be fine.’ And I was like, ‘No, it won’t. That’s not what people believe, and that’s not what you’re telling them. Maybe you’re smart enough to know that, but like.’ So we have many people in the political world who are just willing to say things they know aren’t true. They know aren’t true. It’s a huge manipulation.”
Dan Crenshaw must not get a pass. He is complicit with his tacit acceptance and silence for years. He sees that the tide may be turning and is trying to be on the honorable side. He wants to talk like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. Well, it is too late for that.
Ruhle also called out Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and Joe Rogan. Youngkin attempted to use CRT to divide and conquer. Rogan continued to promote conspiracy theories. He recently had to recant his statement that claimed a school had a litter box for a girl identifying as a cat. Yes, that is the level of silliness that MAGA Republicans and complicit silent Republicans are promoting. It shows the little regard they show for the intellect of their constituents.
The most recent midterm shows that the fever may be breaking. One hopes it holds.
