Arizona Democratic Secretary of State winner Adrian Fontes, first and foremost, wants election deniers addressed correctly. They are #MAGA #Fascists.
They are not election deniers! They’re MAGA Fascists!
Arizona Democratic Secretary of State winner Adrian Fontes appeared on Morning Joe and was exemplary in responding to one of the panelist’s statements about a tweet he posted.
“What are some steps that can be put in place to safeguard the elections in Arizona in 2024 to make sure that they are indeed fair and freely contested,” the panelist asked. “But also to prevent election deniers from causing more trouble?”
Fontes wanted to ensure that the words used to describe the new Republican intransigents were accurate. Moreover, he wanted to point out that these intransigents cared little about their own constituents, let alone their state.
“Well, first and foremost, we’re not just going to call them election deniers,” Fontes said. “They are MAGA fascists. They don’t care about American voters. They don’t even care about their own voters. Based on the delay that we saw in Cochise County, which is a heavily Republican county in southeastern Arizona. “
Fontes then clarified that Democrats and Progressives like him will not allow their bad deeds to go unanswered. In fact, they will be on the attack.
“And so we’re going to attack their lies with vigor and with the truth,” Fontes said. “Because we’ve got the truth on our side. We’ve got justice on our side. We’ve got American democracy and American voters on our side. And so we’re going to push as hard as we can against the misinformation and disinformation that they continue to peddle with no evidence, no legitimacy, and those lawsuits that are being threatened right now. They’re not going to go anywhere. So we won’t countenance even a short discussion of them.”
Republicans tend to believe that their bullying would be effective. Adrian Fontes is stating that Democrats and Progressives will not just sit back. Republicans should try producing policies that Americans want instead of policies for the few. Politicians must stop selling out Americans for a few bucks.
