Adam Kinzinger, a Republican Congressman that did the right thing, says, NO REGRETS.

January 3, 2023 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Adam Kinzinger made it clear that he does not regret doing the right thing. His children will be proud of him.

Adam Kinzinger says he regrets nothing.

Watch Politics Done Right T.V. here.

Dana Bash asked Kinzinger if he had to do it again if he would have gone against his party as he had. I am no fan of the man, but I loved his answer. He first points out it has been rough even from family.

“It’s a great question because I get asked that a lot,” Adam Kinzinger said. “… Obviously, there’s been some sacrifice and everything in it. I wouldn’t do one thing differently. The way this is kind of gone in the last couple of years, it’s been tough. Right? I’ve had an extended family that sent me letters telling me that I was working on behalf of Satan. I mean, that’s not something I could have imagined.”

He said the abuse he took from his family further illustrated how the country had gone off the right path. But he always wanted to be the one who was able to stand up against all odds.

“You always imagine a moment where you can stand alone and where you’re like the one person that can do the right thing in a crowd. Right? Everybody imagines this moment. Very few people get a chance to actually do that. And I’ve learned in this job that very few of those, they get the chance to actually do it. I feel honored to have been at this moment in history and to have done the right thing. You know, my kids are going to be proud of it. That’s something that I take very seriously, and I wouldn’t do anything different.”

And yes, when the history books are written, his children and their children will be proud of those who stood up and played a part in saving a tenuous democracy.
