FORGIVE ME! Congressman begs those who held House Speakership hostage for calling them terrorists.

January 8, 2023 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Congressman Dan Crenshaw was bold as he called out the 21 Congresspeople who held the House of Representatives, speakership hostage. He’s now begging for forgiveness.

While 21 Congresspeople held the House of Representatives hostage until they got their way, Texas House District 2 Congressman Dan Crenshaw was bold as he attacked his Republican Right-Wing MAGA Colleagues.

Jake Tapper reminded Crenshaw that he attacked his Republican colleagues. His first response was to put his tail between his legs and beg for forgiveness.

“You opened up with all the terrorist comments,” Crenshaw said. “I do have to address that. Things get heated, and things get said. Obviously, the people that took offense by that, it’s pretty obvious that it’s meant as a turn phrase. It’s in the context of intransient negotiations. Look, I’ve got a pretty thick skin. I’m called awful, vile things by the very same wing of the party that I’m fighting at that moment. So I was a little taken aback by the sensitivity of it. To the extent that I had colleagues that were offended by it, I sincerely apologize to them. I don’t want them to think I actually believe they’re terrorists. It’s clearly a turn of phrase that you use in what is an intransigent negotiation. It’s important to know the reason that the 200 were so upset was because we felt we had already come to the agreement that we have now.”

Dan Crenshaw does not want you to believe what came out of his mouth. He was having a bad day. And for that, he is begging the Right Wing MAGA for forgiveness.
