President Biden’s false man-of-his-word praise for Mitch McConnell must be called out.

While the turmoil was occurring in the House of Representatives as Right-Wing MAGA Republicans held it hostage, Biden highlighted the Infrastructure Bill with Mitch McConnell and others in Kentucky. Unfortunately, his false praise for McConnell must be called out.

Mitch McConnell is not a man of his word.

Watch Politics Done Right T.V. here.

President Biden, in his zeal to promote bipartisanship, appeared in a public appearance highlighting the Infrastructure Bill with Sen. Mitch McConnell and Sen. Sherrod Brown, among other politicians from both parties. They wanted to point out the reconstruction of the Brent Spence Bridge.

Biden’s statement about McConnell drew the ire of many Democrats and Progressives. A smiling Biden referred to Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell as a friend, colleague, and “man of his word.”

Professor, Dr. Eddie Glaude Jr. did not take kindly to the statement justifiably.

“I think it’s really important for Joe Biden not to lie,” Eddie Glaude said. “And that is to say that Mitch McConnell is a man of his word. To those young voters who think he’s too old, that becomes an indication of ‘something’s wrong’ because they know what happened with Merrick Garland. They know what happened with Amy Coney Barrett. So he has to be very careful.”

It is unnecessary for President Biden to praise McConnell after all the unethical policies and hurt he has inflicted on the American people.

“Talk about, tout the issues, tout the stuff, getting stuff done for American people,” Glaude continued. “But don’t lie in the name of some ideal of bipartisanship. We have to deal with what we have on the table, not tell falsities.”

Every false praise of Republicans is a license for those voters on the fence to give themselves a plausible excuse to vote for a party that harms us. This must stop.
