GO BACK TO YOUR PARTISAN CABLE COCOON: Chuck Todd neuters Sen. Johnson for his Hunter Biden hypocrisy.

January 15, 2023 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

An animated Chuck Todd did not allow a bloviating Sen. Ron Johnson to get away with his accusations of Hunter Biden as he gave Jared Kushner a pass.

Chuck Todd neuters Sen. Ron Johnson.

Watch Politics Done Right T.V. here.

Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson appeared on Meet The Press with Chuck Todd. It was clear he was not happy with the reception he got. These Republicans are used to bloviating without much pushback when they appear on the Sunday Programs.

Todd allowed Ron Johnson to speak his piece. But he did not let his false or misleading statements go unanswered.

“Senator, do you have a crime that you think Hunter Biden committed?” Chuck Todd asked Johnson. “Because I’ve yet to see anybody explain. It is not a crime to make money off of your last name.”

Johnson responded that Todd needed to read the Marco Polo report. That report is a paper from the Right-Wing nonprofit research group Marco Polo founded by Garret Ziegler, a 26-year-old former deputy to Trump White House adviser Peter Navarro. It’s not like the mainstream media are unaware that Ron Johnson is a conspiracy theorist.

Todd continued to challenge Johnson on the seriousness of his accusations. An upset Johnson accused Chuck of bias. Most importantly, he asked Johnson why he did not have the same zeal to go after Jared Kushner, who did shady things as he worked for the White House.

“Part of the problem, and this is pretty obvious to anybody watching this,” Johnson snapped. “You don’t invite me on to interview me. You invite me on to argue with me.”

Chuck did not take kindly to the accusation. His blunt response shocked me. But it was appropriate.

“Look, you can go back on your partisan cable cocoon and talk about media bias all you want,” Chuck snapped back. “I understand it’s part of your identity.”

Excellent job, Chuck Todd.
