On January 6th, 2020, America tested its initial descent into Banana Republic mode as the Biden team was quietly preparing for a coup. They had many contingency plans.
Was Biden preparing for the coup?
Veteran reporter Chris Whipple‘s new book, “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House,” points out that the Biden transition team was planning for every eventuality that could arise from the former psychopath and President Donald Trump.
“Biden’s team anticipated obstruction, delays in getting personnel in place, and a concerted effort to impede the transfer of power. And much worse,’ the author wrote. “They prepared for ‘unconventional challenges,” of which were too many to count.”
The book goes on to point out that while the Biden transition team expected the possibility of chaos in the streets, it was not something they were talking about publicly. They thought there was a possibility that Trump would have used the chaos to declare martial law.
The author said that the 2021 transition was the most violent and bloody transition since the Civil War. It turns out that there was someone in the White House working to ensure a transition even as Trump was acting out his treasonous shenanigans.
Our Democracy is not as sound as some would have us believe. It is incredible how close we came to its dissolution. We seemed to be a banana Republic.
