It is clear Republican Congressman Tom Cole did not expect an informed host like Ali Velshi to challenge his lies on Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act.

Unfortunately for Republican Representative Tom Cole, Ali Velshi would not allow him to use our public airwaves to lie about Obamacare, the #AffordableCareAct aka ACA. Cole claimed that the price of the insurance was increasing. Velshi challenged his misinforming lies with actual data that showed a decrease in the rate of increases.
More importantly, he challenged Cole and his Republican cohort for not having a replacement plan. Republicans are repeating the Obamacare shenanigans of yesteryear with the debt ceiling debate, where they are trying to extort Democrats into cuts. Republicans are unwilling to name. In other words, they are holding the country and the world hostage without any attempts at solutions. But that is who they are. They are not a serious political entity with ideas to empower or make the lives of Americans better.
The techniques Velshi used with Cole is one every host should be doing on network and cable TV. First and foremost, they must be 100% prepared on the subject they are discussing.
