Morning Joe and his crew could not help but ridicule the absurdity of MAGA Republican politicians falsely encapsulating themselves into Right Wing Conservatism.
Morning Joe appropriately ridicules MAGA GOP politicians
After discussing Mike Pence‘s timidity about testifying to the Grand Jury on Donald Trump, Morning Joe‘s panel went on a justifiable ridicule of what the Republican Party has become. The Conservative Right Wing Party is nothing like it was before, in the panel’s opinion. I tend to believe that, more than likely, Trump has given license for them to display who they always were in an overt manner.
“Right-wing used to mean conservatives. Right?” asked Willie Geist.
That was enough to send Joe on a rant.
“Right-wing usually denotes somebody that’s pro-military, pro-law enforcement. They hate the military. They always talk about how they’d rather us be Russia. They hate law enforcement. If law enforcement was like the FBI or Capitol Hill cops, if they were getting in the way of their sort of radical, anarchic behavior. They’re not even right-wing.”
Geist then pointed out that in Waco, they celebrated the terrorists in jail who beat up cops in the Capitol. Joe Scarborough inferred that the reaction would have been much different if it was the Left that exhibited the treasonous behavior of these insurrectionists.
This former Conservative’s show is harder and more piercing in its critique than most of the rest of the purported Liberal media. Many are dubious about Joe. But this modified Joe can be effective in the 2024 election to reach a sect that is not amenable to the voices of Progressives.
