Lindsey Graham tried to bully CNN’s Dana Bash on the State of the Union news program. Bash would have none of it as she pushed back with class.
Dana Bash slaps back at Lindsey Graham
Dana Bash did what too many cable news hosts refuse to do. She corrected Senator Lindsey Graham when he lied and tried to mislead.
Graham said the Democratic Party believed in abortion on demand from inception to birth.
“What the Democratic Party proposes on abortion is barbaric,” said Lindsey Graham. “Abortion up to the moment of birth. Taxpayer-funded. I think is barbaric. I welcome this debate. I think the Republican Party will be in good standing to oppose late-term abortion like most of the civilized world.”
“For the record, Roe went up to viability,” Dana said. “I just want to button this up.”
Lindsey Graham then got irate.
“No, No,” Graham shouted. “Quit covering for these guys. No. No. No. You are media, and you keep covering for these guys.”
He then claimed Democrats introduced legislation that provided taxpayer-funded abortions on demand and up to the moment of birth.
“That is the law they want to pass,” continued Graham. “And no one in your business wants to talk about it. It’s barbaric.”
“Senator, I am not covering for anybody,” Dana Bash said. “YOU KNOW THAT! And I have had Democrats. … I have asked many of them about their position and where they believe this issue should be.”
She then took control of the interview and forced the Senator to put some distance between himself and former President Trump.
