Ro Khanna warns media about repeating 2016 mistake that got Trump elected by the Electoral College.

Ro Khanna broke it down clearly. We should not allow Trump’s legal woes and other shenanigans to take up the media space at the expense of real issues.

Heed this warning from Ro Khanna.

Watch Politics Done Right T.V. here.

The mainstream media mainstreamed Donald Trump as a plausible politician. Some did it because he was thought of as a billionaire. Others did it because he garnered eyeballs for the respective broadcast station. But ultimately, the media made Trump president. And it wasn’t solely the doing of Fox News. All networks, cable, and broadcast were complicit.

Rep. Ro Khanna appeared on MSNBC with a warning.

Jose Diaz-Balart asked Khanna if the President responded appropriately to the Trump indictment. He agreed that the President did. But he had a more important message.

“I hope we don’t make the same mistake [we did] in 2016 where we just start covering Trump’s trial and scandals,” Khanna said. “And focus still on the school shootings in Tennessee; we focus on the President’s message — bringing manufacturing jobs back, of lowering prices. That’s really what the American people want to talk about. And I fear if this just becomes a Trump spectacle 24/7 on cable news that, he is going to benefit the same way he benefited in 2016.”

Enough said.
