The Texas Legislature is a danger to democracy as Republicans continue to test the limits of authoritarianism. Where are our Democratic leaders in the Senate and House Chambers?

Democracy is in peril as authoritarianism and indoctrination grow.

There are four stories below that should shock every Texas citizen. Given that much of what is occurring in Texas is the Republican authoritarian fascist playbook template implemented or in the implementation stage around the country means, the threat is immediately upon us.

A couple of programs ago, I detailed in the newsletter the Powell Memo. It was implemented by the private sector. With the formation of the Civitas Institute at my alma mater, The University of Texas, it is now sanctioned by taxpayers via our government.
