Chris Christie doubled down on the tact he is taking to call out Trump, irrespective of the boo he gets, to make the point that the twice impeached president is a three-time loser for the Republican Party.

Recently Chris Christie appeared at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference and was booed for going after Trump’s leadership and character. He did not back down at the conference. In fact, he was stern with his response to the booing audience. He told them they could boo all they wanted.
The former governor appeared on This Week, where the host asked him if, knowing he was going to get booed, he thought his attacking message would ultimately be successful.
“I’ve been in the race for less than three weeks, and I’m already in third place in New Hampshire, only four points behind Ron DeSantis, who’s been in the race for a longer time and is supposed to be the front-runner,” Christie said. “People understand that folks need to take responsibility for what they do.”
Christie then attacked Trump for having the audacity to tell a recent audience that he was being indicted for them.
“It’s absurd, the same way he has absurdly claimed in the last week that he still won the 2020 election,” the former governor said.. “And he said that’s how he’s going to persuade suburban female voters to vote for him in 2024. They didn’t vote for him in 20.”
Trump then unloaded about the president being a three-time loser.
“This guy lost in 18,” Christie said. “He lost the Senate and the White House in 20, The House in 18. He lost two more governorships in the Senate race in 2022. He’s a three-time loser. We do not need our party to go to a fourth loss.”
The question is whether the attacks and eye-opening attacks will take hold. Trump is Teflon to MAGA.
