Will Hurd continues his necessary crusade against Donald Trump. He got booed for telling the inconvenient truth.
“One of the things we need in our elected leaders is for them to tell the truth, even if it’s unpopular,” Will Hurd said. “Donald Trump is not running for president to Make America Great Again. Donald Trump is not running for president to represent the people that voted for him in 2016 and 2020. Donald Trump is running to stay out of prison. And if we elect.”
The boos started to a crescendo.
“I know,” Hurd would not be deterred. “I know. I know. I know. I know.”
And then he finished with an admonition as he continued to receive a hail of boos.
“Listen, I know the truth,” Hurd continued. “The truth is hard. But if we elect Donald Trump, we are willingly giving Joe Biden four more years in the White House. And America can’t handle that. God bless you, and God bless America.”
Hurd is on a Kamikaze mission like Chris Christie. Will they open a door for a newcomer, or will some faction coalesce around them as a reward? Time will tell.
