After meticulously going through the evidence, Special Counsel Jack Smith indicted Trump on four felony counts. He soon after conducted a press conference where he explained the indictment in detail. He urged everyone to read it.
“Good evening. Today, an indictment was unsealed charging Donald J. Trump with conspiring to defraud the United States of conspiring to disenfranchise voters and conspiring and attempting to obstruct an official proceeding,” Jack Smith said. “The indictment was issued by a grand jury of citizens here in the District of Columbia, and it sets forth the crimes charged in detail. I encourage everyone to read it before the attack on our nation’s capital on January 6th, 2021, was an unprecedented assault on the seat of American democracy described in the indictment.”
I am sure Trump will begin playing the victim card shortly. It will not work. Most of the people who seemed to have provided information to Jack Smith seemed to be former allies. The former accidental President may finally have to come to terms with his criminality
