Chris Matthews nails it as he describes Trump’s inability to do the right thing.

August 11, 2023 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Chris Matthews came out of retirement to appear on Morning Joe. He slammed Trump for the attempted coup and said the trial would expose him.

Chris Matthews nails it.

Watch Politics Done Right T.V. here.

Mika asked Chris Matthews if he thought that Trump would modify his behavior if the court system put restrictions on him. Matthews had some prescient words.

“Our great, great pride is that we’ve had clean elections. We’ve had people who conceded defeat at the end them,” Chris Matthews said. “In fact, in the entire age of television, going back to Adlai Stevenson, when we first got TVs at home so they can see that you’ve been defeated. Kennedy went on television and said he lost or she lost with Hillary Clinton. And that’s what I think we did very reasonably.”

But then Chris said something that really brought it home.

“This trial in court, you can call Jack Smith deranged to make fun of him the way you did of Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio and between like the clown act. Once this guy is in court with you and basically has the law on his side and operates with procedures, you’re going to look like the bad guy. And that’s what the beauty of this is. We’re going to have a concession speech basically on television in the form of a trial. And I think that’s something Trump is scared to death of.”

Yes. The trial will be the concession speech thinking Americans will have as Trump’s ultimate concession speech, if not from his mouth, but from the enumeration of his actions.
