Trump’s supporters often cite economic reasons for their allegiance despite evidence to the contrary. For instance, the economic performance under President Biden has outpaced that of Trump’s tenure, with significant growth in 401(k) values and overall economic stability. Moreover, Trump’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to thousands of preventable deaths, further undermines the rationale for his support.
