I find it amusing that Rick Perry ran out of the state of Texas as his Lt Governor David Dewhurst acting as governor is begging the Federal Government for assistance. Rick Perry is the same guy that wants less government and the guy that preaches that if you leave it to the states they can do a better job.
He at one point even spoke about seceding from this great Union. Sadly, much of the destruction in Texas can be laid at the hand of poor management. In trying to protect his wealth cohorts from any marginal increases in taxes, he endangered our state. He decimated the fire fighter budgets and other pertinent budgets. Yet he claims the state does it better. Its neither about the state nor the Federal government. It is about competence. The fact is Perry is nothing but a blowhard that would destroy this country if elected. He would be Bush on steroids.
As it is said in Texas, Rick Perry is “all hat and no cattle.”
