The compelling story of Kingwood High School students serenading their teacher, thanking their teacher, supporting their teacher, and lifting the spirits of their beloved teacher was so touching to most of the CNN producers that they aired it even on a very busy news day. KUDOS to our wonderful Kingwood teenage youth. What you guys did last night for Mr. Love is a model America needs to follow.
The expression of love to your fellow human being feels so much better than rancor and hate. Remember as you grow up what your teachers mean to you. Remember no matter your chosen profession that our teachers are deserving of our praise and support for they are the ones that move our country forward. Check out the full CNN expose here.

I was lucky enough to have Doug Love as my neighbor many years ago in Trailwood, but not lucky enough to live next door to him. Every Christmas Eve, the little ones next door to him would awaken in the middle of the night to noises on the roof, jingle bells, and a few ho, ho, hos, all courtesy of the wonderful Mr. Love. Penny and Elliot, now in their thirties, one in Australia and the other in the Heights, still remember the thrill he gave them on Christmas Eve.

This is a wonderful, heartwarming story. With daily reports of such mean spirited happenings these students stood tall and showed much compassion. Our future is in good hands with young people like this and thanks to the parents for raising such outstanding children. Mr. Love, you certainly are loved!
