Have Americans Reached A Tipping Point With Their Government?

July 6, 2013 By Egberto Willies

America Is At A Tipping Point

Yes. America is at a tipping point.

Wendy Davis surprise filibuster on two weeks ago at first seemed like a fluke. A social media revolution gave her the legs of physical support in the bleachers. But could it be sustained?

Less than a week later, over 5000 Texans on a hot work day, drove from all corners of Texas for an impromptu rally that got scant coverage even with the intensity not seen recently in the state.

One cannot forget the rallies in Wisconsin a few months back. While they were not always successful, they mobilized citizens to get engaged.

The Moral Monday protests in North Carolina that are showing great disapproval for a North Carolina State Congress that is out of step with its citizenry continues. The protests grow weekly in size and coverage.

Many attempt to say these protests and many others are from outside forces. The reality is they are home grown and in being home grown lay their power.

Every American must start feeling empowered. The seeds of liberation from pseudo oppressive intransigent governments are building.

This will be discussed on the radio show Politics Done Right today beginning at 12:00 Noon Central. If you miss it just click here for the post to the podcast.

Having big government was a bad idea right from the start. As a country we’ve created issues where once upon a time none existed, but in order to fully comprehend that, you have to go back to a time before all the mental masturbation was introduced into the masses as some form of truth.

Please explain what you mean by “big government”… as that term is tossed about so freely these days that it has lost all meaning.
