My Most Partisan Post As A Staunch Democrat – Shame On GOP

August 21, 2013 By Egberto Willies

Shame On GOP

The sentiment expressed by Garrison Keillor below is likely my most partisan post. Make no mistake, I am a partisan. I am a staunch Democrat not because I have a blind loyalty to the Democratic Party but because I believe in the ideals of the Democratic Platform. I believe it is my job as a Democrat to ensure that as Democrats we live up to our platform.

The current Republican mantra in its current incarnation is a clear and present danger to all that America has been striving to be. That a very intelligent man, Ted Cruz would use his great oratory skills and intellect to mislead a people is the height of unfettered immorality.

This man came home to Texas, a state where over 25% of its citizens are uninsured, and urged them to stand up against Obamacare. It is fact that their refusal to accept Medicare expansion will result in the untimely deaths of many Texans. Many of their own are jumping ship including Clint Murphy . They are murderers one level removed.

Shame on GOP for not rebuking Ted Cruz and those that follow in his ilk. The Republican Party must be made to pay for this evil act for the following decades.

I write this in an angry state. I refrain from writing during these times to maintain complete control of my message and actions. At this time however I want to vent publicly.

We need to strart calling himTed the Cruzifier. He is out to cruzify all uninsured, Hispanics, Blacks, All immigrants, the poor, the American people etc. In reality, maybe he is a Castro spy seeking revenge on the USA.
