Return to moral policies
I spent Wednesday through Sunday at Netroots Nation 2014 in Detroit Michigan. It was a wonderful experience. It was a learning experience.
The Netroots Nation convention is the amalgamation of Liberal bloggers from throughout the country. It is a place where many politicians go to schmooze with Liberal bloggers with the expectation of getting coverage and getting their message out.
Most importantly it is a convention for bloggers that communicate electronically to meet in the flesh, to party, to exchange ideas, to plan, and to network in order to form cooperating groups, actions, and alliances.
This Netroots Nation convention was special. It was held in a city held hostage by the American Plutocracy. It was held in a city where a group from outside Detroit helped give voices to Detroiters outside of Detroit. It was a convention that served a purpose. The governor of Michigan heard us. The mayor of Detroit heard us. The fraudulently appointed city manager of Detroit heard us. Is there any wonder it was announced today that the water shutoffs in the city would be suspended for two weeks for evaluation? When Americans work together from within and without we cannot be beat. A united people will always prevail.
Let’s get busy.
Give me a call at (713) 526-5738. That is 713-526-KPFT. Remember you can also send me a tweet to @egbertowillies. Let us engage. It is politics done right.
