War hawk Senator Tom Cotton confronted by father of fallen soldier (VIDEO)

June 5, 2015 By Egberto Willies

Tom Cotton confronted and answers with Military Industrial Complex script

Right Wing warmongering Senator Tom Cotton appeared at a foreign policy discussion at Johns Hopkins in Washington DC on Friday. Tom Cotton is the Senator that wrote a letter  signed by 47 Republicans to the ayatollahs in Iran in defiance of President Obama. He wants to blow up the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the West.

Today he was confronted by a citizen. Fred Boenig’s son died in Afghanistan in 2010. He has three more kids serving in the military.

Fred Boenig called out Tom Cotton, the biggest war hawk in the Senate next to Lindsey Graham. He asked Cotton a simple question. How long had it been since the last US military combat death. Tom Cotton did not know the answer. Boenig did. It was 58 days. He said he asked the same question to another hawkish politician,Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL). He as well was unable to answer the question.

Fred Boenig then asked Tom Cotton when will Americans be able to say the war is over in the Middle East. Cotton responded that since the enemies get a vote there was no clear answer.

Later on Boenig began to school Tom Cotton. He explained that ISIS had no air force or navy. He said they were over 7,000 miles away. He said in America we are armed with ninety guns per hundred while in the  Middle East it is about six per hundred. Worse, for the most part they are fighting out of pickup trucks. The implication is elevating them to the importance we have given them is a farce.

Boenig exposed Tom Cotton’s real masters. He said that on the day Cotton signed the letter to Iran, he went and spoke to a defense contractor. Boenig ended his interaction with Cotton with a prescient statement.

“It’s very clear what your views are sir. My views are keeping our kids safe, which include my children. Now that you have a child, you will understand as well,” Boenig told Cotton. “When you speak of sending our kids again, let’s make it worth it not just to send them to politically help some Haliburton or somebody else to make money.”

What would be even more helpful is to have all these war hawks to enumerate the detail steps that ISIS would or could use to real affect us over here. Moreover, how does blowing up a few over there specifically make us more safe?
