Seth Meyers uses Ted Cruz’s words to show his father would fail refugee screening (VIDEO)

November 20, 2015 By Egberto Willies

Seth Meyers points out Ted Cruz continued his inconsistencies refugees

Seth Myers brilliantly uses Ted Cruz’s confession about his father’s past activities with Castro against his current refugee intolerance and hypocrisy. Ted Cruz has been one of the most vocal opponents of Syrian refugees coming to America. In fact he said it was nothing short of lunacy that President Obama was allowing Syrian refugees into the country.

Of course there is Fox News video showing Ted Cruz as an avid humanitarian in support of the Syrian refugees. He distinctly said that we should bring them into the country and that it could be done safely.

Seth Myers in the above clip shows Cruz talking about his father past violence. Cruz’s father fought alongside Fidel Castro throwing Molotov cocktails, an act that would likely preclude him from attaining refugee status today.

Politicians like Ted Cruz should not be given a pass. Their demagoguery has an effect on people’s lives. Their baseless opposition to acts of humanity get people killed as they recite their hate in the comfort of their insular communities.

Americans must not give these charlatans a pass. Americans most speak up and share the facts. The following was posted by immigration lawyer Scott Hicks on Facebook. Make sure you pass it to anyone you know who may be misinformed.
