The media is finally giving more and more coverage to snippets that likely would have stopped Donald Trump in his tracks early on. However, it is human nature to want to stick to ones decision at all cost lest one accepts simply being wrong. This will likely be the case with this video getting more coverage as well.
Donald Trump really goes after George W. Bush in a CNN interview with Wolff Blitzer in 2008.
“He lied,” Donald Trump said referring to George W. Bush. “He got us into the war with lies. And I mean, look at the trouble Bill Clinton got into with something that was totally unimportant. And they tried to impeach him. Which was nonsense. And yet Bush got us into this horrible war with lies, by lying, by saying they had weapons of mass destruction, by saying all sorts of things that turned out not to be true.”
Was that Trump talking or a Democrat going to the core of Republican orthodoxy? It is no wonder that Hillary Clinton shows no fear in engaging Donald Trump. The thing is, most of his supporters and the GOP supporters would rather have anyone but Clinton. As such a Clinton counter attack won’t work. Trump is very nimble and unscrupulous. He immediately countered Bernie Sanders potentially courting his voters with a lie and a reversal.
