CNN Fareed Zakaria rips Trump ‘He has succeeded by bullsh$tting’

March 18, 2017 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Fareed Zakaria did not mince words as he described why Donald Trump continues with his disrespectful and less than presidential behavior. He was rather explicit.

Fareed Zacharia rips Trump

Fareed Zakaria understands exactly what got Donald Trump into the presidency and sadly it says more about us than it does about Trump.

“I think the president is somewhat indifferent to things that are true or false,” said Fareed Zakaria. “He has spent his whole life bullshitting. He has succeeded by bullshitting. He has gotten the presidency by bullshitting. It’s very hard to tell somebody at that point that bullshit doesn’t work, because, look at the results, right? But that’s what he does. He sees something, he doesn’t particularly care if it’s true or not, he just puts it out there. And then he puts something else out. And notice again what he did at this press conference. When pushed on it, he doesn’t take responsibility. ‘I wasn’t saying that. I was just quoting somebody else.”

This statement should not be surprising.  a few months ago he said the following about the rise of Donald Trump.

“Here’s a much simpler explanation for Donald Trump,” said Fareed Zakaria. “Republicans have fed the country ideas about decline, betrayal, and treason. They have encouraged the forces of anti-intellectualism, obstructionism, and populism. They have flirted with bigotry and racism. Trump merely chose to unashamedly embrace all of it, saying plainly what they were hinting at for years. In doing so, he hit the jackpot. The problem is not that Republican leaders should have begun to condemn Trump last year. It is that they should have condemned the ideas and tactics that led to his rise when they began to flourish in the last century.”

Fareed Zakaria also explained “Why Trump ‘a danger to American democracy.’
