Senator scolds GOP health care group: 13 white men excluding 5 Republican women (VIDEO)

Senator Dianne Feinstein echoed what many immediately realized, the Republican health care working group tasked with coming up with the Senate version of Trump care includes no women.

Senator questions the lack of Republican women appearing in GOP study group

Senator Dianne Feinstein expresses concerns about the Senate study group comprised of 13 Republican white men and no women deciding health care for females.

“I don’t know what the leader, McConnell, has in mind,” Feinstein said. “I don’t know that the thirteen white men when you have five Republican women who are excluded from that, that these thirteen men are supposed to sit down and put something together. … And women’s health is a big part of this, and women are a majority of the population, and their health interests deserve to be contemplated in any form. My position is, and I believe this is the Democratic position, don’t repeal Obamacare. Take those sections, like the individual market, which has some problems with it, and deal with it and fix those sections. And it can be done. I’m really very worried that, in a rush to judgment, we create a major health care problem for people. And we lose a lot of jobs in so doing, and we create a whole atmosphere of unpredictability.”

The Senator is absolutely correct. Republicans should be concerned about fixing the hiccups in Obamacare not using it to give a tax break to rich people.

Learn why Single-Payer/Medicare-For-All is our future. MSNBC’s Ali Velshi explained that the free market simply does not work for health insurance, period. Chuck Todd recently pointed out that the AHCA decimates coverage for all but mostly to the Trump voter.

Call your Senators and Congressional Representatives every day and let them know you do not want the Affordable Care Act repealed. Also tell them they must support H.R. 676, Medicare-for-all. If you do not know how to get in touch with them, click here.
