Nicolle Wallace hits the nail on the head. The Right-Wing and Democrats play a completely different game.
“The right isn’t running an intellectually honest operation to get to the bottom of whether Tara Reid was victimized,” Nicolle Wallace said. “The right is running a smear campaign against Joe Biden. The right wants to create some sort of equal playing field on which Donald Trump’s more than two dozen or nearly two dozen accusers sort of having some company on the other side.”
I wrote a blog a few months ago, that I cannot find now, stating that the Trump team would turn Biden into Trump from all the proclivities a man in the same generation with Trump displays. From sexist issues to racist issues, to non-apologizing issues, and now to children profiting off of a name and their parents’ politics is probative. It’s clear that Biden is no Trump. Unfortunately, enough is there to create the narrative for a large percentage of Americans.
While the narrative was that Donald Trump was most scared of Joe Biden, many knew it was a ruse. They already had the book on Biden they could engineer to create the narrative they needed. It not all that different from when in 2000 they engineered Al Gore’s distancing himself from a popular Bill Clinton.
Poetic justice, bad luck, or just maybe karma could be what derails Trump. An incompetent president can coast to victory especially one running against a bloodied caricatured Biden. But when that president is so incompetent that he botches controlling a virus that kills over 100,000 Americans which triggers a depression that was impending, and at the same time seeming detached from reality, even a frog could beat him.
