Even Fox News is reporting the truth about the Trump Tulsa Rally. Trump may have lost his mojo and in a steep decline.
Chris Wallace giving Fox News credibility?
Fox News may be reading the writing on the wall as they try to wean themselves from the Trump Administration’s vines. Wallace was never a Fox News or Trump sycophant though he seemed to take even more Right Wing spin than Chuck Todd.
Trump campaign adviser Mercedes Schlapp likely did not get the Wallace she expected. He did not allow her to spin.
Wallace asked Schlapp on “Fox News Sunday” about the anemic turnout at Saturday’s rally, which was much lower than the 1 million people the Trump campaign had been touting. The Tulsa Fire Department reported that almost 6,200 people attended the rally according to their count.
It was surreal. As Wallace showed pictures of rows of empty seats the spokeswoman was attempting to spin one’s deceiving eyes.
Later she would imply that the reason for the missing Trumpeters was that Black Lives Matter protesters were blocking entrance. Wallace countered that there was no evidence of that occurring.
I am seeing a decided shift in how Trump is being covered. They feared him but now many believe his wounds may be lethal and as such like buzzards they are looking for the opportune time for payback. After all, Trump has really been a bully to them for a very long time.
