Evangelical Leaders claiming ignorance after their words continue to kill many. Dead parents enough?

If there is a hell, that is where these evangelical leaders belong. They are singularly responsible for the deaths of thousands. Unfortunately, if natural selection was perfectly selective, we could be rid of them. Unfortunately, nature is not a scalpel.

Evangelical leaders are a clear and present danger

I just read the article, “Fort Worth pastor who urged ‘faith over fear’ in the pandemic mourns parents who died of COVID complications,” that shows the irresponsible ignorance of the evangelical leaders too many good people follow. Just like our laws allow suing for causing harm to the property of others, we should have the same apply to evangelical leaders who harm people’s lives.

The article starts as follows.

Pastor Todd Dunn

Pastor Todd Dunn: Real pastors don’t lead their flock to the abyss

Pastor Todd Dunn had been urging “Faith over fear!” since the COVID-19 pandemic started in March. Just before Thanksgiving, he posted a message on Facebook dismissing precautionary measures advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to keep wearing masks and avoid gatherings with family members who don’t live in the same house.

“I’m not wearing a mask when around my family like the CDC requests and we are traveling so we’ll take our chances,” Dunn’s Facebook post read. “And to top it off we are huggers so there you go! There will be no social distancing CDC. Faith over fear!!”

A few weeks later, both of Dunn’s parents were dead after entering the hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. Charles and Shirley Dunn died within hours of one another at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.

This pastor was a virulent ideologue that shared little with what the man he claims to worship was all about. The hate for the left was his driving force that in effect caused the deaths of many. This is clear from the article.

So what is his excuse for leading his flock to the abyss? None even with a dead mother and father and other pastors.

“I’m not going to be on the side of government-intrusion on places of worship,” he said.

He doesn’t regret anything he said earlier this year about the pandemic, he said. “The numbers were different than I believe they are now. I would say it’s something we need to take a look at in the current timeframe.”

The following statement from him makes his toxic-devoid-of-science ideology and he himself a clear and present danger to humanity. Unfortunately, too many leave their intelligence in some hidden place to follow charlatans like this.

Perhaps, the founders of our nation made an error in forbidding both the writ of attainder and corruption of blood.
