Dr. Dean Baker illustrated the fact that inequality did not just happen but abetted by policy
Dr. Dean Baker was a keynote speaker at the Lone Star College Center of Civic Engagement‘s Economic Inequality and Civic Engagement Conference recently in Houston, Texas. He is Co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington DC.
Dr. Baker in no uncertain terms laid out the facts that prove that inequality did not just happen. He pointed out that their are distinct policies that are the genesis of this scourge. His speech was empowering and should give activists the necessary primer to move forward.
