Constituents discuss Obamacare after police kicked most out of building (VIDEO)

January 25, 2017 By Egberto Willies

The movement is beginning, and politicians like Senator Ted Cruz are starting to feel the heat from their constituents.

Constituents strategize after police kicked out many from Ted Cruz offices

These Texas voters discussed Obamacare & more after cops kicked them out of the building housing Ted Cruz’s downtown Houston offices.

Dr. Dona Kim Murphey first gave a synopsis of the meeting with Ted Cruz’s staff. They only allowed four people out of 30 or so in the group to enter the offices. Shortly after that, Houston police kicked the rest out of the building.

Dr. Murphey made an important point. Precluding people who wanted to tell their stories is not the same as just listening to the representative stories of four.

“For her to say that we were all one voice, that she would only take four of us as representative of the entire group, was deeply offensive to me,” Murphey said. “You know what? Had I not have been part of the group that was asked to go in, I don’t believe that any of you, no offense, represents me. Okay? That is intolerable.”

She pointed out that this behavior is a theme for the entire Trump administration. She said the issue is ‘effective disenfranchisement.’

Other attendees pointed out several realities about Obamacare that they stated they would be taking to the public at large about and specifically the Trump voters who have been lied to for quite some time.

  • Texas left billions of dollars on the table for their refusal to accept the Medicaid Expansion to the Affordable Care Act solely for ideological reasons. It would have cost them zero for the first three years, and then 10% going forward. Instead, Texas remains the state with the most uninsured residents while thousands die yearly.
  • Many rural Trump voters are unaware that Obamacare repeal will affect rural hospitals throughout the country.

It is exciting to see that Americans, and specifically Texans are starting to assert their citizenship.
