Joe Biden did not hold back as he slammed Trump for his dereliction of duty. Trump knew that COVID-19 was very both deadly and contagious.
Biden slams Trump
Here is the transcript.
Joe Biden: Meanwhile, on the day that we hit 190,000 dead in the United States, because of COVID-19, we just learned from the Washington Post columnist Bob Woodward that the president of the United States has admitted on tape in February he knew about COVID-19 that had passed through the air. He knew how deadly it was. It was much more deadly than the flu. He knew and purposely played it down. Worse, he lied to the American people.
He knowingly and willingly lied about the threaded pose to the country for months. He had the information. He knew how dangerous it was. Now, while this deadly disease ripped through our nation, he failed to do his job on purpose. It was a life and death betrayal of the American people. Experts say that if he had acted just one week sooner, 36,000 people would have been saved. If he acted two weeks sooner, back in March, 54,000 lives would have been spared in March and April alone. His failure has not only costs lives. He sent our economy in a tailspin. It costs millions more in American livelihoods. This is a recession created by Donald Trump’s negligence. And he is unfit for this job as a consequence of it. How many schools aren’t open right now? How many kids are starting a new school year the same way they ended the last one at home?
How many parents feel abandoned and overwhelmed? How many frontline workers are exhausted and pushed to the limits? And how many families are missing loved ones at their dinner table tonight because of his failures? It’s beyond despicable. It’s a dereliction of duty. It’s a disgrace.
Biden hit just the right tone. He was effective.

I’ll admit, I’d “play some games” to ensure that John Q Public doesn’t snap up all PPE supplies that hospitals need.
People, when we personally meet, find me a very nice and gentle guy. None suspected my prior occupation in the military. Oddly, herbivores liked my company, even tiny dik-dik gazelles, a gazelle the literal size of a moderately sized housecat. Fed them by hand.
OTOH, there’s another side, the military side, where the Constitution and laws of our nation are sworn to be upheld. Don’t get me started on W’s torture BS, that’d turn into Encyclopedia Britannica.
Back to Biden, vs Trump.
Trump still espouses failed notions, by pure ire alone, thinking that reality will slow the ire curve in his base, since he ignores the hospitalization rate and hence, bankruptcy rate and death rate.
Well, save if he shat out a health care plan that’s shite superior to Obama’s settlement.
Reality meets the road, were Trump a subordinate, said subordinate would be charged with dereliction of duty.
Given his imPOTUS CiC position, he’d get a military penalty.
Some idiots want to see a military confrontation with the government. Given what I’ve called down and what I’ve witnessed called down, that’s a fool’s errand.
So, let’s circle back to Trump, who is universally acknowledged to seek, regardless of methods and means, reelection.
Given that which was proved by intelligence in the previous election, his slavish responses to one nation’s leadership, yeah, trust me, “man on the street” conversations strongly suggest buyer’s remorse.
