I commend Stephanie Ruhle for covering the Texas Voter Suppression walk, allowing Beto O’Rourke and Rev. Barber to speak freely. But the misrepresentation of the poll is dangerous.
Many of the people I met who were stumping hard for Beto were young and appreciated him for decent reasons. But we must continue the work.
Here is the reality, if Texans continue to vote in the numbers they voted in the early primaries, then Beto will be the next Texas senator.
Millennials and Gen Zs want more than party line politics. They find the superficiality boring given that they know how to find information at the fingertips.
Ted Cruz was likely very happy last night. He is not so happy this afternoon as Beto O’Rourke in a new poll is ahead. Both polls are likely wrong.
Sen. Ted Cruz has a 54 – 45 percent likely voter lead over U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke, his Democratic challenger, in the Texas Senate race according to the Quinnipiac University Poll.
Polls will change when the Beto O’Rourke campaign let every Texan know which party and specifically Ted Cruz’s complicity in failed healthcare & Social Security attack.
Beto O’Rourke is the real deal and in his travails throughout 254 Texas speaking to every Texan about his values, it is clear why DFA supports him.
Beto O’Rourke may shock not only the Texas Republican Establishment but the Texas and National Democratic Establishment as he taking on issues, many fear.
One gets chills when one sees a politician who gives responses that can unite without violating ones’ values. Beto O’Rourke is perfecting it.
