Last week was not a live show. I replayed the show with my Conservative Republican activist friend Bob Price. My daughter graduated from my alma mater, The University of Texas at Austin. I had family in from Panama, California, and Colorado. They all stayed with me both in Kingwood (Houston) and a rented house in Austin, 23 people in one house. It was fun and gave us all a chance to reminisce about life in both Panama and the United States.
Interspaced with remembering old times we discussed a lot of issues of the time. There is nothing like doing that face to face. It was amazing in reflecting on each other’s lives how the issues of the day affect each person and family in different ways. We have folks that are self-employed, folks going back to school, folks with pre-existing medical conditions, folks under-employed, folks in private schools, folks in publics schools, folks figuring out how to pay for college, etc. Enough of the personal. Today I want to discuss scandals. Well, I mean manufactured scandals, the AP scandal, the IRS scandal, and the Benghazi scandal that never goes away. I wrote several articles on these that I want to explore. I want to also discuss these in the context of the real issues affecting us as we waste time on issues that won’t employ one person or improve the standard of living of any American citizen. Ultimately let’s talk about what we can specifically do to force the hand of these politicians to do what is right.
