It is not difficult to get frustrated with the mainstream media even though we all know how shallow their coverage is. Case in point was this week’s newest ‘scandals’. It was ‘leaked’ that the government is collecting information on our telephone calls and other communications. Tapped phones? Scanned emails? Really? This story ‘broke’ and all the copycat networks picked it up. What is funny is that this was reported in 2006 in an extensive article by Leslie Cauley titled “NSA has massive database of Americans’ phone calls.” I have a hypothesis; many on the ‘Professional Left’ and the ‘Professional Right’ have allowed themselves to be pawns of the American Plutocracy. I have spoken before about most politicians being empty vessels to be filled. An unfulfilled middle class can become a reactionary middle class. Whichever politicians that allow themselves to be filled with the burgeoning middle class movement will put the Plutocracy at risk. The administration after dancing to appease the Plutocracy during the first term has been making subtle moves that would make one wonder if a real middle class centric attack is coming for 2014 that if successful could codify a real middle class centric state.
