Politics Done Right with Egberto WilliesSaturday 12:00 Noon Central/1:00 PM Eastern Call In, talk and/or Listen: (646) 929-2495 Listen On Computer/Smartphone Live/Podcast: HERE This week’s showCan Obamacare be the winning message in November? This was a great week. Contrary to the naysayers, Obamacare crossed the 6 million people mark. This does not include all those that received healthcare for the first time via the Medicaid Expansion to Obamacare nor the 3 million plus young people remaining on their parent’s insurance. This is a good and moral thing. Peoples’ lives are being saved. Obamacare should be a winning message in November for any politician who is honest about the law. It is time to stop cowering and be bold and support a policy that helps the poor and the working middle class. What do you think? This week I interviewed Ben Cohen, founder of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, on Move To Amend Reports with cohost Laura Bonham. He is one example of millions of one percent-ers that need to be highlighted. He is not clouded by the need to hoard capital. Ben Cohen is roaming the entire country with his Stamps Stampede campaign building awareness to get money out of politics. This week it became official. I was awarded a radio show on Houston’s KPFT 90.1 FM. This is one of the largest stations on the Pacifica Network. The show, Politics Done Right on KPFT will air at 9:00 PM Central Standard Time. It starts Monday April 7th, 2014. There will be a warm up show on Monday at 8:00 PM CST. Those in Houston, Galveston, Conroe, Humble, Pasadena, and surrounding areas can tune in on FM 90.1. Others can live stream or listen to the podcast at KPFT.org or at PoliticsDoneRight.com.
